The History of KOB The KOB Society was established to honor all those who have taken the special step of including Westtown in their long-term plans through a bequest provision, life-income gift, or other deferred giving arrangement. The KOB Society harkens back to a time-honored tradition at Westtown—“Kindness of Bearer” messages, affectionately known as “KOB’s”, written on pieces of paper that are folded into tiny packets to preserve their special contents and delivered to the intended recipient by a trusted friend. The act of including Westtown in your Will or trust, or entering into a life-income arrangement, is like sending a KOB to future generations—a highly personal message, conveyed in trust, that bespeaks feelings of tenderness and special regard. Westtown’s future is secured by these important gifts—gifts from the heart for generations. The KOB Society celebrates and promotes this tradition of generosity, connectedness, and trust at Westtown. If you have included Westtown in your long-term plans, please let us know by filling out our Confidential Information Form. We look forward to welcoming you into this special group of long-term supporters. You have our assurance that we will treat your plans in the KOB tradition with the utmost confidentiality. If you would like to learn more about ways to include Westtown in your plans, please contact us for a confidential consultation. Return to Planned Giving Home
