The Young Alumni and Student Summer Internship Program
Summer Internship 2010 is fully staffed! Thank you to all those who applied. If you have any questions contact Johanna Coyle with any questions.
The purpose of this internship is to provide rising juniors (Class of 2012), seniors (Class of 2011) and Young Alumni with hands-on experience in Westtown’s Advancement and Admission offices. The interns (3) will spend time training with both offices to learn about each department and then will spend time on rotations within both departments. The rotations will include time in the Advancement Services, Alumni, Annual Giving and Major Gifts offices in the Advancement department, as well as a week's rotation in the Admissions department. Past summer internship projects have included strengthening young alumni communications and annual giving, touring prospective students and families, helping to re-create the “First Friends” program, editing of the Westtown web site, refining the student annual giving campaign, and meeting with current and prospective donors.
This summer's internship will run June 14 -August 6.
Please read the reports below put together by our summer interns detailing the work they did.
